NSA represents more than 100 banks, investment banks and investment firms active in the Nordic region.
Welcome to the Nordic Securities Association
The Nordic Securities Association (NSA) was founded on 25 November 2008 whereby a long-standing cooperation was formalised among Capital Market Denmark (Kapitalmarked Danmark), Finance Finland (Finanssialan ry), the Norwegian securities dealers association (Norges Fondsmeglerforbund) and the Swedish securites markets association (Svensk Värdepappersmarknad).
NSA represents more than 100 banks and investment companies in the Nordic region.
The overall objective of NSA is to promote a sound and competitive capital markets in the Nordic region, in Europe and internationally. NSA also works to promote harmonised rules and supervision in the Nordic region.
Our target stakeholders are regulated markets, clearing and settlement providers and supervisors as well as legislators especially in the EU. However, NSA sees it as an overall objective to be a main partner representing the Nordic region in the variety of issues to discuss in the market.
NSA is structures with a board and three standing committees – Regulatory Affairs Committee, Market Structure Committee and Clearing & Settlement Committee. The association is chaired on a rotating basis by a member association and the secretariat function follows the chairmanship.
